Custom Port Impulse Heat Sealing

Port sealing involves two main categories. Ports which seal into a single layer of film and ports which seal in between two layers of film. Ports can be a vary greatly in size and shape.

If sealing a port in between two layers of film, PackworldUSA recommends using a boat shaped port versus a tubular shape if possible as they are easier to heat seal. The PW2000 Series impulse heat sealing machines are utilized for custom port sealing and other custom contoured heat seal shapes.
